Allred's Classic Jazz Band's fifth album. This CD covers
all the musical territory: Dixieland, Big Band, Swing,
Shuffle, small group features, the trio (rhythm section),
some vocals, some ballads, and a very special guest,
BUDDY MORROW appears on Night Train. There is something
for every musical palate here, and this album will be
a tribute to this versatile band forever. Check out Terry
Myers' swinging' tenor sax version of "Mandy",
Charlie Bertini's trumpet feature on "Begin The
Beguine", Bill Allred's vocal on "Pete Kelly's
Blues" and of course, the legendary Buddy Morrow
on his classic "Night Train". A very special
arrangement is Scott Whitfield's adaptation of "Oh
By Jingo" from the Billy May original that appeared
on the SORTA DIXIE album from the 50's. You will quickly
see why this recording is titled SWING RIOT!
